1.Are you a self-learner- first leadership quality:
What is self-learning? Very few things are available in books to learn if that is the case every management student can be a business man or good at leadership. Is it happening? NO, Essentially many things in the world are not available in books. Every personality is different; every business is different eventually every strategy should be different.
There is a limitation in books, for instance, few people get a doctorate because of their expertise from industry, do you think it is academic knowledge? No, this is what self-learning. In reality, you will be surrounded by many of qualified and experienced people, self-learning and maturity can put you out for this crowd.
Bachelor’s can teach +2 guys; masters can teach bachelor’s, a doctorate can teach masters, doctorate only has to guide a doctorate??? then who is teaching beyond doctorate? Do you think there is nothing to learn beyond it? Think about it 🙂

A student learns theory to write for an exam (He/she will forget once the exams are over).
A teacher learns theory to earn money (He/she will forget once the profession is over).
Learning of a scientist turns into a new invention (The invention will be connected to people).
A leader’s learning turns to create many leaders like him (Only the leader has a chance to stay connected to people’s heart).

2.Communicate with conviction:
Great communication is first leadership quality. His/Her communication should have conviction, passion. How can you convince people with communication?
- You should have a clear understanding about the topic which you are talking.
- You should be very expressive the topic you are talking about.
- Represent facts rather than creation. It creates trust on you.
- Speaking other than actual topic would deviate the interest of the audience. Consequently, Deliver the message in crisp and precise.
3.People should work for you rather than a brand:
People work for a company or a brand. However, if they work for an individual without any pain, that is called leadership, it doesn’t mean working for no money. If the team is available 24/7 for you, follows you, got inspired by you, and trust you. Yes, you are the leader. Perhaps, you can build a great relationship with colleagues after a year or few months. However, one inspiring speech is good enough to have a long attachment.

4.Can you take over with a smile:
The leader should be in such a way to speak with his eyes and take over with his smile. When can you do that? Don’t dominate with the title, you can take over with knowledge, in that case, a matured smile can speak to people.
5.Are you a good listener:
The majority of citizens says a leader should be an excellent communicator as I already said, it is the first quality of leadership. Yes, that is correct. However, he should be an excellent listener either. A matured person would pay attention to the communicator, he understands their concerns and addresses them effectively. Two issues if you don’t listen to them.
- The problem can’t be addressed adequately.
- You lose team’s trust.
6.Are you creating leaders:
The majority of the people don’t reveal their skill to others. Is your skill that cheap? Can’t you master it? Don’t scare to share the skill; you should learn new things by the time you share the skill, that’s what leadership is. If you create a team member, he will forget once leave the company. However, if you create a leader, he will never forget until his death.
Be a leader and live in people’s heart, leadership is not for everyone.
